There was a time when black love was commonly portrayed on television weekly. The Fresh Prince and Family matters did wonderful jobs at portraying healthy Black relationships in a family dynamic. Today we don’t see healthy relationships featuring Black people as often. The closest thing we have to those iconic families today are Rainbow & Dre of Black-ish and Beth & Randall of this is us. The rest of our imagery comes from social media platforms like Youtube, Instagram, and Facebook. Most of it is aint perpetuating the healthiest of relationships, so here’s my contribution to the promotion of healthy Black Love. Black Love Imagined!
